Can Listz be used in place of navi links?

What I have done on my other sites was
to create my top links and called them
using ssi. On my new sites I would
like to use Listz in place of navi links.

I would create my ten best links on
the top left side then as time goes
on and more pages are created
I would use Listz. Would this
be ok?
