It's possible the SMF has updated and Forumz isn't compatible with the new version.

Also, try changing the "test" time from 0 to 1 minute and see if that works.

As far as the Newz script, these mods were programmed into the Newz Tuel so there's no need for the script if you use any of the Tuelz.
