Ok so this is my FIRST job ever, And I went to my first day of work tpday. They put me as the coffee/smoothie maker. And it gets SO HECTIC! I forget how to make a vanilla coffe, or ice capp or vanilla whatever ! Or which cups to use. I look like a wreck, and I keep saying sorry to my co-workers, because then they have to come and do it themselves because i take too long. and the managers keep rushing me. It was just so hectic i felt like crying i was so frustrated. So if anyone knows a site, or if you know by knowledge so i can write notes on this. I go back again tomorrow, and i'm afraid that i will forget how to make them!! Especially since my shift is in the morning, everyone asks for some sort of coffee!!

*The smoothies I get, they're easy. I just forget about the lattes and mocha and ice cold mocha and cap and which cups to use and what to add in it!

Oh thank God im under 18!! I didn't want to work with the fries and oil, it looks complicated. And I know i'd freak out and mess up.

I was at BK today and they referred to my hamburger as a sandwich. I've heard other people call them sandwiches too. I don't know why but it irritates the hell out of me.

Resolved Question: Does anyone have any good tips on dealing with rude and angry customers?
I work at McDonalds, and mainly through the drivethru ordertaking. I am such a sensitive person and when someone is rude to me, I take it so personally.. It makes me extremely upset and stressed. If I am rude back to them I usually get the "Can I please speak to a manager?" which does not bother me at all- the managers talk to the customer, nod and #####, and come up to me and laugh and say whoa! Ignoring that what a rude *itch! One lady went to the owner about me and he got angry at her and basically told her to eff off!

I understand the young 'cool with nothing else to do but just lap the streets in a beat up car' kids- they're losers who... will not go anywhere in life.

What's the best way to tackle it? I try to just smile and just do my job, say my goodbye, direct them to the next window, and close my window (I never slam it, gently) but I still feel all especially when they laugh at me.

Any good quotes? Like 'treat others like you want to be treated'- along those lines.
