My boyfriend and I are going out in Oxford this weekend and would like to try somewhere nice and new to eat. Copa of Oxford is one we have gone to before and we like it very much, so restaurnats which are similar to that are pretty good. We don't have particularly picky choice in food, but I personally don't like spicy stuff so curry houses are out of the question. Must have a calm atmosphere as well as good food, and not be too pricy!

I was in NYC 20 years ago, and while in Brooklyn Heights we found a very large deli-restaurant that served great hot pastrami sandwiches. They put out a bowl of pickles when you sat down, just like a Mexican restaurant would put out chips and salsa. The place must have sat over 100 people easily. Is anyone familiar enough with that neighborhood to know which place I'm talking about, and is it still there, and what was the name of the place? We'll be back in NYC in March. Thanks.
Juniors looks great. I'd like to try it either in Brooklyn or Times Square, but it seems a bit far from where we were. We were closer to the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Adams St. and Columbia Heights, and in the DUMBO area.
We only walked maybe 3-4 blocks.
