Open Question: Wendy's has changed their fries with sea salt, but has the cheapest possible frying lard remained the same?
Doesn't the oil determine the ultimate quality of the fry? For example, although it's highly impracticable, but switching from lard to medium-heat extra virgin olive oil would turn a "bad" fry soaked with animal saturated and trans fats into a "good" fry with the healthy mono-unsaturated fats without any animal component? Or will enough people be fooled into thinking that sea salt is inherently a "healthier" choice?

the chalupas are are really moist at the center, it almost looks like watered down sour cream. most of the chips in the nachos are soggy where the chees is. and overall the meet looks colorless.

This question was inspired by a commercial that tried to make it sound like a hamburger helper meal was a great alternative to fast food because it was healthy, fun, and homemade. I may see the necessity of eating "boxed' food, but I think our idea of homemade has slipped badly.
