I went to AppleBees a few days ago and got a waiter who gave me horrible service. It took him forever to take our orders, rarely filled our water, never gave me a refill on my soda, and it took him so long to give us the check that we ended up waving him down and just handing him the credit card. The bill was $19.36, so I decided to round it up to $20 because I thought he didn't deserve a tip. I just checked my bill, and it turns out he charged me $22 instead of $20.
The money doesn't really matter to me, it's just the principle of the matter. He gave horrible service and deserved no tip. To charge me extra without my consent is ridiculous. Should I just call in and complain, or should I go in person and talk to the manager about firing him. BTW I did go to the same applebees about a month ago, got the same waiter and he also gave horrible service, but I still tipped him cuz I thought he was having an off day. Now I just realize he's a lazy and deceitful b**** who shouldn't be working.
