Well.. I'm sixteen, and it's my first job. I was really shaky on counter for a while at first, and really nervous. I was employed in mid-august but I was on a three-week vacation as well, so I've only really been working for a few weeks, with around 2-3 days a week and three hour shifts. I started out on counter, and I believe the first time I shone was when I stopped what I was doing to help a woman and her children, and bring her a booster seat. My managers pulled me aside to tell me good job. Now I'm usually on top of things when I get there, filling the ice box, re-stocking the coolers, cleaning the dining room, all the while taking orders and such. I'm always very polite and respectful to everyone from customers, to co workers, to managers. Now for the bad...
I've been late to work twice, both times because I was never taught how to read the schedule, but I never asked either... My manager insists it wasn't a big deal though, but I try to stay on my game.
I was learning drive thru last saturday for the first time and I forgot to give a couple of people change because I was doing so much stuff... Now I'm trying to work on getting the druve thru and counter food bagged and out, which is hard by myself because it's really had to read and sort the orders quickly sometimes. My manager asked me "How much longer can I be patient with you?" I'm really scared, but that's another thing, my managers always tell me "Don't be so nervous, we're all friends here." But when I get yelled at or pulled aside it makes me do worse. I've had a few days where I've done excellent, but when something bad happens I have a mini spasm...
My questions are, what can I do to look better? What do I say? Where do I start? I desperately don't want to lose my job. Do you have fast-food job experience? And if so, what do you think I should do to improve? What looks good? How do I "relax"? I try, and it never works, I just freak out more. How do I calm down and focus...? What do you do?

I used to eat at Carl's Jr when I lived in California but here we have Hardees. I don't know if they take each others coupons even though they are owned by the same company and serve the same food.

Open Question: I need help with KFC uniform sizes?
I recently got a job at KFC and was told to tell them what my uniform size is, as they need to order them for me.. They don't have any uniforms for me to try on, and i'm worried that i will get the wrong size if i just tell them my normal clothing size.

Could someone who owns a KFC uniform measure their uniform and let me know what size it is and the measurements, so i have a better understanding of what size i will need?
