My boyfriend says that about 10/15 years ago, all McDonalds Big Mac Burgers had a weird round black spot (about 5mm) on the base of the bun and no one knew what it was or what was the point of putting it there. He thinks it was a big conspiracy. Although I believe him, I didnt eat McDonalds back then so dont remember but I think it might have been a seed or design of the bun or something?!, but he insist McDonalds put them there on purpose. Does anyone remember this? or better still know why it was done??

My sister and her husband live with us at my parent's place. He has a bad habit of blowing his nose boogers, spitting and hawking loogies in the kitchen sink. I understand there is running water washing it away, but I am in the health profession and know that traces of germs remain. I ended up telling my sister to tell him to stop his disgusting behavior or I would do it myself. Am I right or am I wrong? He is from Nicaragua, and even though my family and I are Americans of Nicaraguan descent, we don't do these things. He is actually a landed legal immigrant here from two years ago. I have been to Nicaragua and have seen this behavior in most men in that country. People there have very low hygiene levels, not all, but most. However, he is now in America and we do things the hygienic way. Again, am I right or wrong here? 1) We wash our dishes there, 2) We soak our fruits and vegetables in the sink with water and 3) We sometimes peel vegetables and fruits in the sink. All I can think about is the germs in that sink crawling on my food!

Before I get to his counterargument let me say this... Dogs have cleaner tongues than people, it's a fact. Americans are known to love dogs and make them part of the family. My family is no exception. When I eat peanut butter from a spoon I sometimes let my dog lick off the rest. When I have salmon or something, I let my dog lick off the juices or residue from a dirty plate. However, keep in mind that this is a beloved family pet. The dog is not hawking loogies at the plate, or putting sputum on them. Regardless, I wash off the plate with hot water and dishwashing liquid.

He agreed that what he did was not right, but he said that his spitting loogies in the kitchen sink is no different to when I let my dog lick off of plates or eating utensils. I'm sorry, but I rather eat off my dogs plate than his and NO! He is wrong. If he feels that way then maybe he should get his own place. Once he has his own place he can take a dump in his kitchen sink for all I care, but not at my parent's place!

Im a very busy person. I dont have time for games. I went through a drive through at a local fast food place and got my order and paid. drove off. When i got to work I sat down and ate. The fries were cold. So I figured id stop by on my way home. I politely waited in line than explained that my fries were cold. She asked me for a receipt. I didnt have it, but I knew someone there probably remembered me, how many people drive through fast food with Brand New cars. At this point I got irritated and asked for the manager. She came back and told the person, than said sir where are the cold fries. I told her I ate them earlier when I was in. Ill admit I did make a bit of a scene. and waited there for 2 hours for a district manager. eventually I got mad and left. Im far to busy than to wait around. I have a meeting witha local GM in 2 weeks. Im going to explain how this is not how busy people should be treated. If I get no respect Im going further up the food chain. What is the next step after GM?
