Open Question: will we live shorter(die faster/shorter lifespan) on earth if we eat fast food(mcdonalds) frequently?
my friend which is a frequent fast food eater eats 4-5 times a week of mcdonalds(doesnt matter lunch or dinner)
i tried to convince her that its not healthy. she still doesnt understand.
im worried if she gets obese, but most that i worry is that of her life.
i have been told that (by some host at this show i attended) each burger we digest, faster it is for us to reach our death. is it true? like example. (Example!!) like if a lifespan of someone is till 80 years old. if that someone eats fast food frequently, will the life span change to 78years old?or lower?

I just received my BA in business and I also had a business management internship. I live in a small town with very few businesses. Arby's was hiring crew and hourly crew managers. I applied and have an interview tomorrow. Does Arby's hire managers out side of the store or will they make me a crew member? What is the pay? They have tough schedules; 50 hours a week,
(usually either they start very early like 5am.......or they end very late past midnight)

so the schedule sucks..........

but: What they do during those hours........is wonderful.

they have unlimited access to FREE DELICIOUS FOOD.
They can sample on it while they work.
They can give out free sandwiches to their friends and family.
That's a lot of power.

Dealing with customers can be a pain........and sometimes they get very busy.......
but that's mostly the job of the minimum wage crew, not them managers. right?
Managers sometimes help out with those jobs, but primarily they are in their office doing paperwork, inventory, payroll, etc.
and no one's pointing a gun to their head making sure they're working;
they can get up and take a cigarette break anytime they want.
they can get up and use the restroom anytime they want.
There is no on-site supervisor.
What happens if the managers falls asleep? No one bothers him.

I especially am asking about McDonalds, I havent a single problem with the food not being fresh. Frozen and shipped is good for me. But is it true that the places the meat comes from are getting it from cows that are beaten, stabbed, choked, and electrocuted? Does fecal matter really show up in the food every now and again? And I already know that it is cheap because of one thing: Corn, yes corn. Corn is in everything, it's chemicals are vital and essentially the fast food is mixed with components thereof. What makes it so cheap is that the price of corn in Mexico is changing. So the price of corn in the U.S is dropping dramatically. Many people eat fast food so they mustn't deal with the fats and grissle that shows up in steak. Drowning in their own ignorance, they haven't any clue that all of these unwanted elements are still in the food, just finely chopped, and pressed into familiar shapes, then in some cases breaded. So answer my question, Yahoo Answers and I have another, did I teach you anything here?

home..taco kit...4 bucks, lettuce2 cheese 2-3 sour cream 2-3 meat3-5.. yes their will be left overs but even with the left overs i still can get more food at taco bell FRESH with the amount of money it'd cost to make from a taco kit...also mcdonalds...i can spend 3 bucks...i can't even spend 3 bucks for frozen or fresh hamburgers at the market...why do people say homemade meals are cheapier?? When I started out I usually had one shift a week.
That was for a couple of shifts.
7 Shifts = 7 Weeks.
I get about an average 3Hours per shift.
Sometimes they ask me to go home early, because the customers has slowed down.
I mean, why would I want to when I hardly get any shifts.

These 2 weeks, I haven't gotten any new shifts.
I even called up and none.
Went in-store to check the rosters, none.
They plan there shifts 2 weeks ahead.

By the way I am a casual - I should be working at least once a week.
But I haven't these couple of weeks.
I think they only need me when they need people to fill in.

I think it is unfair, I am not going to bother talking to a manager.
I am wanted to find somewhere else, but don't know where.

If so how am I going to quit?
Call up and quit?
I honestly think they don't even need me anymore
The pay is okay, not bad.
Working there isn't "ENJOYABLE" but it is okayyyyyy.

What should I do?
Just stay there until I find another job?

So tomorrow I'm going for my 4 hour training shift at McDonalds. But I don't actually know what's going to happen. We've already watched the DVD and done the Orientation and I don't know what to expect from this training.
