im applying for a serving position at a CPK. a friend told me they give you a food and alcohol test before hand, any one know about this? kinda nervous about that part of it, what if I do horribly? anyone know more about this test or any advice? cpk employees?

I would like to know how many people do agree with me that I said the cleanliness in malaysia eateries is very very poor.

1. Do you notice in some place hawkers near the roadside how they wash the utensils? I can said one big basin of water mixed with dishwasher and another basin for rinsing.Ever wonder how often they change the water?
2. At the back of some eateries most of all their kitchen is a mess.Have you ever wonder how the utensils is wash?

I wish the health department can do more about this. In future if no action is taken Malaysian people maybe will get some kind of infection.

A new diner, instead of the cashier allowing me to add the tip and be charged for the check+tip they instead charged the check amount, printed it out, and asked me to write in the tip.

Then they made a separate transaction, for the tip, for which I didn't receive a receipt. I asked for a receipt, was given a copy of the slip for the original check amount, and told to again fill it in for my records.

When I took issue I got the runaround and it seems completely unorthodox - how can a transaction be made in your name when you don't sign for it?

Clearly this isn't kosher, I'm concerned of the legality, and wondering why this is being done (to hide the tip from my receipt or record it as a second transaction).
