I picked up a $10 large special deal pizza from Papa Johns today.. It has been awhile since I have had pizza, and I just can't help but to notice how I couldn't even SEE half of the toppings that were supposed to be on it..
5-10 years ago I never noticed this. I know with the state of things times are hard, but damn, can't you just spinkle a little more on the pizza till I notice them at least? Why would I ever pay full price for this specialty pizza or come back to a place of business again when their sale has givin subpar results.
It's not just them. Other major chains have been this way of course(at least where I live). I know a lot depends on the guy preparing the pizza, as I have had times where they actually load it up.. But when it looks obvious like your trying to save a penny, it just pisses me off.

im 15 and was layed off a few months ago at a pizza shop where i was working at. been working there since i was 14.
NO ITS NOT FAMILY OWNED. I just needed a work permit, school approval (not during summer) and thats pretty much it.
the law isn't age 16.
idk maybe its by state...BY LAW in washington you can work at the age of 14 with limited hours and school approval if during school year...and a work permit. thats it. And most business won't hire you. Like big corparations like McDonalds. The place i worked at was a small chain in puget sound
Open Question: HOW DOES BURGER KING DO IT?
i realized they give the best value, like they give you more for less. On top of that, there burgers are great and don't really taste like fast food.
For example, you know how everybody these days has some type of double cheeseburger for a dollar? BURGER KINGS BUCK DOUBLE IS A QUARTER POUNDER!! thats right! basically a quarter pounder for a dollar.

compared to mcdonalds tiny mcdouble, it is HUGE. the quarter pounder at mcdonalds cost about 3 dollars by itself.
ALSO, on there new breakfat menu burger king has a sausage, egg, cheese mcmuffin for a dollar. On mcdonalds breakfast dollar menu u dont get cheese.Of course they serve it with cheese, but it cost more.
And like I said before, Burger king taste WAAAAAY BETTER!

I remember when I was 6 getting a Happy Meal (which didn't make me happy) and I started crying because the bun was half way on the burger and the cheese was on the other side XD Yeah, you can't always get what you want but still I mean if they're going to advertise the food looking all shiny like that, I expect (well expected) for it to look like that.
This is what the cheeseburgers end up look like 95% of the time;

I ordered a 24 piece bucket of wings, but there were only 23. I'm thinking of suing KFC. I just wanted to enjoy my 24 wings with a bottle of hot sauce, a 40 oz, and some PCP while watching Maury and listening to 50 Cent. They're always trying to keep me down.

One day I decided to fix me a bowl of Chef Boyardi's Ravioli and I microwaved it. Well I ate some then ate a little more and about 4 bites in I noticed this one piece had a burnt taste to it. I thought I had burnt my ravioli. Turns out there was a cigarette in my food. So my mom calls the place and what-not and it just goes to show you that you can't trust people when it comes to your food.
Then there's the occasional hair in the food.
There was also one time when my mom found a roach in her Burger King cheeseburger.

I have only been to Subway a couple times, and I have always been pretty clueless when I order. I mean, I order a Black Forest Ham (or whatever), and they go through every ingedient and ask me if I want it. How am I supposed to know what goes well with the meat I chose? Do they not have a "default toppings" list for each sandwich (or did I miss it)?
If I'm going to be on my own when it comes to toppings (i.e. no assistance from Subway), what are some good combinations when it comes to some of the various meats?
