Ok I'm turning 21 on the 28th of October (this month). I want to go to a club, but not some hole in the wall full of ghetto ass people. but places like Venue are really expensive I think it's $50 each for ticket idk. All of my friends that are going are co-workers, so i know if i don't make much neither do they. So I want something with a little class too it but isn't off the wall expensive. BTW I've never been to any club, but i do know what i'm looking for. I don't want to go to one of those that's 18+ or has some teen night i wasn't aware of. I work at a Golden Corral in my town and I'm genuinely curious as to where people's manners and common decency go when they walk through the front door. People seem much more inclined to be rude and gluttonous in an environment like this.
I understand they're paying customers, but what gives them the right to be so demanding and self centered towards employees?
Why do people feel they need to eat like there's no tomorrow?
Lastly, why are people OBSESSED with desserts?
I see people on a daily basis gorge themselves and it's really beginning to sicken me. It's almost no wonder that obesity is on the rise more and more. And before anyone gets on their high horse and says "Quit your job if you hate it so much" or "Maybe you should go make something of yourself", I'm working here to pay my bills and put myself through college. I definitely don't plan on working food service for the rest of my life.

When I was 17 I walked out of McDonald's in my hometown because of an argument with one of the managers. I was young, hot headed and brash. I am now 23, about to graduate from college with a Business Administration Associates Degree. I was looking at some managerial salaries and seen they make decent (but not great) money for shift managers. Think I could get re-hired since I've matured since then and have even served in the United States Military?

As we entered the restaurant they took a picture of us and later asked us if we wanted to purchase them - we declined. Now I've realized that my mom really did want to buy them but thought it would embarrass me or something. I don't see anything on their website for buying photographs, but is there anyone out there who knows a way? what do you think the odds are that they still have the photographs given that we were there in mid august and it is now october...?

is this pervert 46 year old greek man who never washes his hands and is always picking and flicking his
snot around the food area.
two weeks into working at the place i stopped eating the food after i got food poisoning and
one of the other workers told me that " the fat greek " < that's what we call christos the manager> likes to stick the drum sticks between his
smelly arm pits and trust me he likes to walk around in a singlet and shorts and you can smell his armpits and crouch.
he also sticks his fat hairy fingers into the gravy before the customers and once after he hocked into some gravy it went out to a childs birthday party
the kids where all " yeh i love the gravy and the kids and parents were dipping the chips < I saw him cleaning his ears with some fries once before >

A friend and I are going to a concert at the Palladium Ballroom (1135 South Lamar St) in Dallas in a few days. We want to stop and eat dinner before we go. We're both college students, so typically we don't have much money. Are there any places to eat near the venue with good, but cheap food? Like, $10 or cheaper. And that's open before 5. I've noticed some places that only serve dinner don't open till 5.
