I work at a Starbucks and someone comes in regularly and gets a green tea latte with quite literally 30 Splenda's in it. It takes her like 5 minutes. On top of this she gets a double pump of syrup and generally gets two at a time. She extremely thin as well. Why would someone do this? Is there some sort of disorder she might have?

Is it likely you would have to quit or could someone fill in for you? We're talking about something you had already planned for and an important part in your life BEFORE you got this job; here's whats up.. I just applied to a job at Starbucks & I will have to fly out to Colorado from NY to see possible residencies on November 30th for my significant other who will be a doctor ..IF i got this job, I'd need to take off a bit more than a week for this important milestone...as our lives may change & live somewhere very different next year. I can't miss it & plane tickets are already bought. But i NEED this job (or another) for $.. If I get the job I'd be there a bit over a month at that point in time. Thanks for any input/experience. I have not had many jobs & i know each one varies. But for a place like a coffee shop where you're a barista, how flexible is it? What about a RETAIL job? Would it be too much to ask after not working long very long? Thanks for input, guys! )

Open Question: I work in fast food and there's always this one guy...what do I do?
I've been working at Mcdonald's for the past 6-7 years. I am currently a manager and I have been having a problem with this one customer...He is a nice man. He doesn't seem to have any problems whatsoever. He comes in at least 4 times a week and orders the same thing: a Big Mac and a medium Coke. He eats his food in silence and then goes to the bathroom to wash his hands. When he exits the bathroom, he walks politely over to the playplace and attempts to to jump into the ball pit. Unfortunately, this man is on the husky side and he often gets wedged in between the entrance of the ball pit, trapping the children inside. One day, he left his cell phone in the ball pit. His ringtone was rather offensive and many parents took their children home. My employees had to search the entire ball pit before his phone was located. I have tried calling Corporate, but they will not return my phone calls/e-mails. We also called the authorities once to take more strict action. He threatened to sue our store. I have no clue what to do. I no nothing about legal stuff like that. Please help me.

I'm just curious. I want to know people's favorites. I've been eating popeye's once every week and soo sick of it. That's my opinion. I love KFC, I'm dynamite. lol. Popeye's chicken is too dry, tastes old, small and not really juicy. I got another. Anyone remember Pioneer Chicken? I love that chicken. Though I only try ed it 3xs. Pioneer chicken is like Popeye's. There chicken is flakey and delicious. Popeye's bought that company and took over.
