#0, AOL Headlines Test 2
Posted by Kurt on Oct-23-10 at 10:33 PM
#2. I deleted the old thread and started this one because it's easier than deleting all the used posts.
Test - I'm using this thread to archive the RSS pheed from AOL's homepage.
The reason: AOL creates some of the best copy for getting clicks for links. They are designed to stimulate interest and get readers to click.
Not all of the following are relevant, but use those that are to give you inspiration for author tag lines, meta description tags, etc.
For example, in the first post below, you'll see:
"Job Search Tips You've Never Heard"
This could easily be applied to just about any niche:
"Dog training tips you've never heard"
"Weight loss tips you've never heard"
"World of Warcraft tips you've never heard"
"Big screen TV buying tips you've never heard"
This is automated and the collection will grow over time...Go ahead and browse through the posts and get some ideas.
