I can't offer much support for RSS Explosion as it isn't my program and I only know what you know.

For the RSS, you may want to check to make sure the pheed itself is valid by using this service:
http://feedvalidator.org/

RSS CAN be "funny". A pheed may work one time, not the next. Or, a pheed will often work for one reader and not anthor. For example, BlogBomb is much more "picky" than Newz Tuel.
