In general, my concern is the one brought up by Phil, and that is if these blogs will have any longevity. I'm sure Big Mike sells quite a few of these and these blog services will probably be hit with a lot of junk "out of no where".

My hunch is, we'd have better luck each coming up with some WPMU blogs of our own, with lists that are unique to ourselves, instead of a few WPMU blogs shared with 100's or even 1000's of spammers.

In most cases, it's probably better to find content relevant to the over-all theme of the WPMU site, than to post a "dog training" article on a WPMU site featuring "baseball cards".

Also, is it possible to use the blog roll as a way to camaflauge links?
