Use one of the auto email checkers. See the email thread towards the bottom of this board.

If you use Bookmarking Demon, it will tell you if there's an error submitting. Creating and using new accounts is an ongoing chore.

If you add eveyr resource to your RSS pheed (like you're supposed to), every once in a while create a pheed that shows all items and run a link checker on it.

for example, search for the letter "a" and have BlogBomb display 10,000 items. Then run a link checker on the output.

Delete the items that create the errors from your blackhole. I wouldn't worry about other links, too time consuming to remove them, instead spend the time creating new linking resources.
