#0, Should I remove fatty pages from my site?
Posted by blue_sky on Jul-29-09 at 06:07 AM
Ok tough question here ))?
I have a white hat site with nice graphic, white hat linking etc good content and lots of fatty pages (I consider this the more gray hat part) this worked and got me some traffic etc
Now I am aproaching the 10 ten listing for some comp.keyword and wonder if I better should remove my fatty pages (what would be the best way using a 301 redirect???)

the reason why I am asking this the more exposure you will get the higher the chances that someone will look at your site and most likely one of the comp. will report you to google

Any opinions here on that matter?

Depends on how spammy your Fatty pages are and how many?

Are you just scraping Google or did you put some effort into creating your own high quality links?

If it were me, I'd concentrate on building a database full of good, quality sites.

Hi Karsten,

Then I'd go with your original plan...
