Note to All...

This is a little "off topic" for this forum, but one of the better potential marketing assets I've found recently is Twitter.

I've added more than 700 "followers" in about a week, spending about 7-10 minutes a day. It's much easier to build contacts this way than through email.

Here's what I did, and will continue to do:

Get the Twitter Friend Adder here:
http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/34045-twitter-friendadder-2-2-0-get-thousands-humans-your-websites-everyday.html?highlight=twitter

It isn't perfect and has some flaws, but it does the essential stuff.

Spend time researching niches. Find someone in that niche that has a lot of followers.

One method is to google:
famous person + twitter

For example:
Steve Jobs + Google gives me this twitter page:
http://www.google.com/search?q=twitter+%2b+steve+jobs

And the first result is Steve Jobs' twitter page:
http://twitter.com/SteveJobs

You'll see he has about 13,000 followers. Grab the URL of his followers page and paste it into the TwitterFriendAdder software:
http://twitter.com/SteveJobs/followers

I set mine to grab 500 followers a day, with the "interval" set at 2-20 seconds and haven't had a problem. I've heard of people getting their accounts frozen, so use some restraint.

After you (the program) adds 500 "followers", wait 40-48 hours. In this time, about 1/3 of the followers will follow me back.

Next, after about 2 days, use the "remove friends that don't follow me" feature of the software.

It is important to remove people that don't follow you. Twitter only allows you to follow 2000 people UNTIL you have 2000 followers of your own. Once you have 2000 followers, you can follow more people. So it is essential to remove folks that don't follow you.

Let's say we repeat this process for a couple of weeks...It only takes a few minutes to start the software and let it run and with little effort you could have a few thousand followers of your own, all targeted to "Steve Jobs", which is really Apple. Not a bad start.

Southwest Airlines also has a Twitter page...You could get a few thousand followers from them, knowing there are targeted to "travel", "airfare", etc.

In theory, you could set up different accounts focusing on different niches, check Twitter's TOS for multiple accounts.

There's certain rules and etiquette you need to follow when using Twitter. Refer to the article above and other sources for the best ways to "tweet". I've given you a system to add followers, you'll need to maximize this.

I suggest you start building lists of followers, as I doubt it will be this easy in the future. There is real power to be able to "raid" the followers of someone else and get about 1/3 of them to willingly follow you, using automation.
