I've found a 4th blogsearch engine that provides a feed for your keyword search

- you already know about
Blogdigger
Daypop
Feedster

- now you can add WAYPATH to the list
http://www.waypath.com

The good thing about Waypath is that your search feed can either be for the most relevant ('best') or most recent ('new) feeds.

The feed format is:
http://rss.waypath.com/query.xml?qs=blogkeyword+&mode=best
OR
http://rss.waypath.com/query.xml?qs=blogkeyword+&hours=24&mode=new

If your using pheedsearch.cgi, I suggest you add Waypath to it - the more choices we all have, the better
