!Silver Sites -

Silver Sites is the first special category for Directory Submitter (DS).

It's a list that takes you directly to the "sign up" page for the major free blog sites, like hubpages, squidoo, wordpress, blogger so you can create all these accounts as fast and easily as possible.

Do this:
-Download and unzip !DirectorySubmit_SilverSites.xml (check the MOnthly Download thread to see what is available for download).

-In Directory Submitter:
Import Custom Directory Databases

-Find and select:
!DirectorySubmit_SilverSites.xml

Now the list of about 20 sign up pages for various silver sites is entered into your copy of DS.

-Click the "filter" button and select "!SilverSites" and it will show only this list of silver sites.

-Right click on the first entry in your list.
Select "Set Custom Color"
Choose "olive"
Repeat for each entry in list.

I know this is a small pain, but it only takes a minute or two and marks our links to "silver sites" stand out.

DS wasn't programed to have different types of submission pages, so we need to adapt. Give each type of resource a different custom color, so you can still use the original link directory data without clutter for other categories.

IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU SPEND 2 MINUTES AND GIVE EACH FILTERED LIST THEIR OWN CUSTOM COLOR.

- Go down the list, adding resources to your network.

-Use the right click=>EDIT CUSTOM TEXT to add comments to any entry...Passwords, status, etc.

Also, right click=>"MARK AS SENT" once you've created a resource

Directory Submitter not only speeds up signing up for stuff, but it also helps you keep these projects organized.

Learn to modify things that have changed. If you don't like a service, you can delete it from the !Silver category or delete it entirely.

Get rid of the entries that slow you down or are a hassle. Then for your next project, you'll be even more efficient.
