#0, Macros - Let's Automate
Posted by Kurt on Sep-02-08 at 06:23 PM
After a lot of thought, plus the popularity of a thread at another private forum, it's time for us to work on "MACROS".

Macros are used to record and repeat things you do on your PC. It gives you the power to automate your repetive tasks without having to be a programmer.

Macro recorders do take some time and effort to learn, but can greatly save tons and tons of time and effort over the long-haul.

Who wants to join a macro team?

My idea is that we all use the same macro recording software, so we can trade macros.

Then, we go through all the free third party hosting accounts, and create a macro for each's sign up form, and we trade the macros we create with other Bombers.

We each do a few, and pretty soon we'll have macros to create accounts at tons of the free hosting services.

Instead of creating tons of Blogger accounts all at once, we create one account at tons of different hosts and services...

Also, Tuelz should work well with macros, increasing their power alot.

(I posted the following in the WF...If you have any recommendations, please post)

I'm having a tough time deciding on which macro recording program to use.

Here's the main requirements:

- Able to share/export macros and .exes with other users of software

- Price. Since I need this for a group project, price is a bigger factor than if just a singfle person was buying.

- Can create a macro to run multiple macros.

- Good at filling in web forms using data from a spread sheet

Any advice or preferences?
