Hi Larry,

22,000 RSS items is probably beyond the limits of BlogBomb, as PERL has a certain limitation of number of lines it will parse. It could also cause a time-out while BlogBomb searched through them all.

Also, a lot depends on your own internal linking structure...How have you linked the 22,000 pages with each other? Are they static or dynamic pages?

One option is to create what Eli at BluehatSEO calls a "rolling site map". This basically means to split the RSS pheeds/site maps into multiple, smaller files, then rotate through each.

To take this concept further, you could/should create a bunch of subdomains, preferably on a different IP/Host, and use a different RSS file for each.

Getting 22,000 pages indexed takes some work and some time, and you should probably be happy with a 50% success rate.

Depending on link structure, it's often best to use 20,000 of the pages to build links to the other 2,000 to increase their chance of ranking, focusing the extrenal linking resources on the 2,000.

Now, to answer the question directly, I'd either start breaking the file up into many smaller RSS files, or you'll likely need to create a MYSQL database that can be searched and exported as RSS.
