#0, The List of FREE Bots
Posted by Kurt on Apr-04-10 at 04:35 PM
LAST EDITED ON Jun-12-10 AT 07:02 PM (PST)

This thread is for listing all the free bots, both those that I make and by others (that are publicly available). These are Ubot Studio bots, which are "mini programs" that automate tasks.

I suggest you create a folder called "Bots" and in it create a folder for each bot. Then in the main "Bot" folder, add shorcuts to each bot, so you can access them quickly.

Simple Proxy Scraper Bot

www.dombom.com/iframes/ProxyScraper.zip
(Please download it and give it a test on your system:)

Here's a simple bot I just made that scrapes proxy IPs from this page:
http://www.ip-adress.com/proxy_list/?k=time&d=desc
It only scrapes IPs that are from the US and the UK, ommiting IPs from all other countries.

There's a small glitch...If you want to run the bot again, you need to hit the "stop" button (by "actions"), then hit the "go" button again.

The IPs should be stored in a txt file called Ips.txt, located in the same folder as ProxyScraper.exe.

If you own Scrapebox, it will do a better job of collecting proxies, but if you don't, this is a good, easy way to get some fresh proxies.

I hope to add this proxy scraper to other bots, so this is just a start.

Gmail Activation Link Clicker Bot
www.dombom.com/iframes/GmailActivation1.zip

This bot will log into your gmail account and open all emails looking for "activation" or "verification" links, then click them.

1. Unzip

2. Enter your gmail address

3. Enter your account password

4. Browse your PC and select the activation codes.txt file that is included in the GmailActivation1 folder.

5. Press the start button

6. Go get something to drink and let the bot do the dirty work.

.

FREE Third Party Bots

Note: I haven't tried all of these, if you download and try one of these bots please report if it works or not.

Thanks...

Google SERP Scraper Bot - http://www.bestsoftware4download.com/software/t-free-ubot-review-serp-scraper-download-ayhvmkro.html

This is a "mini" (and free!) "Scrapebox" that scrapes Google for URLs. Use it to find footprints of common site platforms, such as Wordpress blogs or VBulletin forums.

EzineArticles Sraper to WP Blogs Bot -
http://www.ubottutorials.com/ezinearticle-to-wordpress-bot.html

Google Adwords Scraper -
http://ubotlibrary.com/files/2009/11/ppcadscraper.exe

Enter keywords and this bot scrapes and saves the Google AdWords PPC ads for that seach. A good way to track and spy on Adwords campaigns.

Reddit User Creations Bot

http://www.veryadvancedmarketingtools.com/advancedtools/wordpress-com-article-submitter/

From the bot builder: "The bot will take an article.txt file which can include spin syntax. It will load a username.txt file and a passwords.txt file and then take one random line from a tags.txt file and do the following. Login to the account on wordpress.com post it, log out and the goto the next account, login and repeate until all the accounts in the list have been actioned. Auto WP Poster Bot
http://www.ubottutorials.com/blog-syndication-bot.html

MyLifeIsAverage_Scraper Bot:
www.dombom.com/iframes/MyLifeIsAverage_Scraper.zip

I compiled the source programmed by another person. This bot goes to www.MyLifeIsAverage.com and scrapes posts. These posts are GREAT for using as "every day" posts, just rewrite them a bit using your own keywords to change the story a bit.

Easy Twitter Friend Adder:

"adds users by keyword, username and unfollows using Buzzom. The software works very well at getting targeted followers and should make your Twitter marketing efforts easy."

www.dombom.com/iframes/easy-twitter-adder.zip

RSS Pheed Submitter:

This is a lite version. Looks like it is pretty good if you haven't paid for something better.

Note:

If there's a bot that uses URLs from the same platform, such as my VB forum with blogs script, you can scrape your own URLs, paste them into the proper text file containing the URLs for that bot and have your own unique set of resources.

Kurt, I tried the VBB Bot and there is no list included - this is not to complain just to let you know ))

Also would it be possible to create a bot which is able to scrape member names/ids from boards searching for a specific term???

I am not sure if you already did but imo you are pretty close to start wso with your bots....

I could probably do this...Give me a little more detail/example.

I was going to, but they changed the rules and don't allow anything remotely considered "blackhat". I'll offer the stuff as WSOs that isn't "blackhat".

Hi Kurt,

This looks really great. Do you have any opinions on the rest of Uget Links software?

Have a great weekend.

Hey Steve (and All),

I really don't know much about most of these bots, including Uget. The domain/WP bot should be a good test. If he can get than bot to work, then the other one's are probably OK.

The one thing about this WP bot I don't like is that it uses Fantastisco to install WP, which means WP is probably way out of date. I haven't tried it, just going by the info.

Because I have Ubot, I check out their forum and other Ubot user's bots. Sometimes they post a bot or just the ubot source code file that isn't compiled yet and I'll just compile it and post them here.

A note about Ubot: It's always having updates, many of which are beta. Right now, I'm afraid to open any of my old bot files due to problems with a recent "update".

These updates should make it a better program in the future, but right now it's slowing my progress a lot.

Their Bots work - But I would rather choose some of the membership based bots for account creation because the owner tend to pay more attention to support etc.

Here is another bot http://www.backlinkgoldmine.com/pixploit/

LETS MAKE A LIST EVERYBODY

Another free 3rd party bot. From the developer:

"There are currently two sites that work, don't work, etc and I will keep my eye on them and remove them if necessary.

Just unzip and extract the folder, as is, to your desktop and run the bot from that folder."

Sorry Karsten, I don't have a clue and couldn't find anything about it. A pure guess is that it has something to do with submitting pictures to sites like Flickr, but just a guess.

Also, I meant to have this as a thread for free bots, but forgot to put that in the first thread...I updated the first thread accordingly.

Hey All,

I'm working on a bot that will update WP plugins.

You can also use the Moverz Tuel to help with this. Create a "main" blog where you upload all your plugins. Then just have Moverz check this folder and copy and move any plugins to all your other WP installs (that you can FTP to).

Then run the WP update bot every once in a while.

It's actually a pretty easy bot, I'm just stuck on one part that's holding me up (as usual).

But this will be a great time saver for those that use multiple WP installs and what to keep their plugins up to date.
