Hey All,

Sorry it's been slow. I've been spending my time trying to learn something new. It's a program called ubotstudio and it helps create mini programs called "bots" that work with your browser (IE8 to be specific) to help automate many browser related tasks.

If I can master ubotstudio, the possibilities for this forum are endless. The other "catch" is if they will actually work on your system.

This is really how I wanted this forum to be all along. Problem is, I'm not a programmer and my long time programmer isn't available to me anymore, except for emergencies.

And, I don't really trust other programmers.

If I can learn ubotstudio, I can take control over much of the automation we need to move forward, without relying on others.

Ubots can be kind of "clunky", but they will get the job done.

Below are some ubots made by others that you can download and check out for yourself. And these are just the tip of the iceberg as to what can been done.

NOTE: You may find other ubots on the web to download, but be very careful, some jerks just make viruses/spyware, then say it's a ubot so they can get folks to download them. So be careful if you decide to try and find others to download.

The ubots below are "safe". Instead of posting directly download links, I've linked to the download pages which make have other info/tutorials, so check them out.

PhpBB Forum Account Creation Bot

This program will go through a list of phpBB forums and create a profile with your backlink. The only downside is that you can't choose the anchor text but a link is still a link

-------------------------------------------

Facebook Friend Adder

Note: Before using the program, using IE8, you need to login facebook and then browse to the page where you will be adding friends. You won't see this in the training video.

WP Poster Bot
here is a bot that will log into a list of Wordpress blogs and make a post.

http://www.ubottutorials.com/blog-syndication-bot.html

-------------------------------------------

EzineArticles Scraper Then Post on WP Blogs

Scrapes articles off ezinearticles based off of your keyword. Then posts them on your wordpress blog.

*One note about the video. Forgot to mention that it does not select the category. So change your default category to where you want the articles to go."

Youtube Account Creator Bot 1.0

Features:

*No SMS Verification
*Create Multiple Accounts
*Delay Between Creation & Verifying
*Manual Captcha & Decaptcher Solving
*Alternate Email Domains

Attention: Creating more then 10 accounts at a time without using tor or Hide My IP may cause yopmail to pop a captcha, and the bot may experience problems if this happens

I can't give you a specific time/date I'll be ready to add our own bots...I can only promise that this is my #1 priority and want to add as many ubots for automation as I can.

Eventually, I may take requests, but for the immediate future, I'll make bots that I can do.

In the meantime, play around with the ubots above...

If you are so inclined, you can buy ubotstudio for $245, but there's coupons available that bring the price down to $199.

However, it isn't as easy as the sales page and user comments make it sound. While you don't need programming experience, it would definetly help.

And while they say you don't need to know HTML, I believe that you really do need to know and understand HTML, otherwise you'll get totally lost.

So thanks for your patience and wish me luck making bots and hopefully I'll be able to add plenty of cool stuff in the near future.

PS. You will need IE8 and .net 3.5 or better to use the bots.

Hi Kurt

Good luck with your blog creations, sounds exciting !!

I have tried automation and find myself just scratching my head.

I have Winautomation which states that it is simple to use, I can't even manage the simplest of tasks !

The first Bot on your list:- PhpBB Forum Account Creation Bot is a great little bot for getting fast links - Thanks

Again good luck

Bill

Hey Bill,

>I have Winautomation which states that it is simple to use,
>I can't even manage the simplest of tasks !

I know what you mean. The biggest difference between ubotstudio and winautomation is that ubotstudio is designed for web based stuff, while winautomation is intended for windows applications.

>The first Bot on your list:- PhpBB Forum Account Creation

Just to be clear, none of the ubots I listed above are designed by me. I just stumbled across them in my ubot research and posted them here since they are all on public web pages. But they should give us a good idea of what can be done.

A note about the PHPBB forum bot...PhpBB doesn't allow for anchor text. You just enter your domain/URL. But if your domain has your keywords in it, you will get your keywords in the anchor text.

Also, some advanced SEoers believe having some "URL only" type links is a good thing.

Kurt, dont most of these apps that are already made give you the source code? And if so, couldnt you just expand on what they already did?
Anyway Im sure you will turn this into a great project, its a great way of putting whats in your head into an automated tool or tuel,I just wish I had one tenth of the knowledge you have in that head of yours.

Hey Russ,

About half have the "source", which is very helpful, but the "source" isn't code (it's a graphical interface) and doesn't explain everything. And there's also some good video tutorials I've been following.

Expanding is something I do try, but there's some modifications I need to make and am not quite clear on how to do everything...yet.

I have a lot of ideas that are really pretty similar in structure, so once I can make a few, I should be able to make more.

I'd really appreciate it if you guys/gals can download and test a ubot or two on your own systems. My biggest concern is they may not be compatible with everyone's system.

If anyone is interested, here's the first bot I'm working on...It will be a bot that will log into Yahoo mail and click on "verify your account" links, so when you sign up for stuff, you can run this bot and it will click all the activation links for you.

I'm basing it on this video...But in the video, he doesn't have it log into your account:
http://www.ubottutorials.com/yahoo-email-automated-activation-link-clicking.html

I'm using yahoo because Google has gone to sms verification...And I posted at the ubot forum for the code so I won't have to redo it, but will if I have to, I already have the log in part working.

Here's a simple bot I just made that scrapes proxy IPs from this page:
http://www.ip-adress.com/proxy_list/?k=time&d=desc

It only scrapes IPs that are from the US and the UK, ommiting IPs from all other countries.

There's a small glitch...If you want to run the bot again, you need to hit the "stop" button (by "actions"), then hit the "go" button again.

The IPs should be stored in a txt file called Ips.txt, located in the same folder as ProxyScraper.exe.

If you own Scrapebox, it will do a better job of collecting proxies, but if you don't, this is a good, easy way to get some fresh proxies.

I hope to add this proxy scraper to other bots, so this is just a start.

Please download it and give it a test on your system:

Gmail Activation Link Clicker Bot

www.dombom.com/iframes/GmailActivation1.zip

This bot will log into your gmail account and open all emails looking for "activation" or "verification" links, then click them.

1. Unzip

2. Enter your gmail address

3. Enter your account password

4. Browse your PC and select the activation codes.txt file that is included in the GmailActivation1 folder.

5. Press the start button

6. Go get something to drink and let the bot do the dirty work.

I should have a Yahoo email version done pretty soon...
