I seem to be having a problem using fatbomb after I rename it. I rename the fatbomb folder and fatbomb.cgi.

What else has to be modded? I can't seen to find anyhting else, but if it's not working then there must be.

Steve,

Can you be more specific than "not working"?

What error are you getting?

Are you using a searchbox generated in the Admin??? Or are you polling FatBomb directly? Or are you using the htaccess to generate pages on the fly?

Also, please don't start a new thread for every question...There's a thread for general Fatbomb support.

Sorry, I thought this was general fatbomb support.

I made pages using page bomb and when the includes calls fatbomb evrything is fine. When i go to the admin etc everything is fine.

When i rename the folder fatbomb inside the cgi-bin to search, and the fatbomb.cgi to search.cgi.

Inside of the 'fatbomb.cgi', I modded the script name from 'fatbomb' to 'search' as well.

I also modded the .htaccess to rename 'fatbomb' and 'fatbomb.cgi' to 'search' and 'search.cgi' respectively.

By not working I mean that i get 500 errors when i try to access the search.cgi and or the searcg.cgi.admin and the pages i made and uploaded that call the script with a virtual includes get the error: .

I have NOT modded the fatbomb-data file (that is not insdie of cgi-bin) because I thought it might be getting called deep inside one of the scripts and would not need to be renamed for fingerprint purposes, so I left it alone.

Thanks

Steve

Steve...

It is the general FatBomb support forum. What's your point? That you post Tazbomb template questions here?

Sorry, but I don't want 10,000 threads in here cluttering it.

The next question is: If you are using SSI includes, why do you need to rename Fatbomb? Anwer: You don't, as SEs, or anyone else for that matter, will never see the SSi tag refering to Fatbomb.

If you have to change the name, email Kirill for instructions, including how you were getting the error and what it was. "not working" isnt' much to work with.

That should be enough.

I'm not sure what you have done, but you don't need to do anything
like this. Most probably it is the thing that caused the problem.

Correct.

I cannot tell this for sure unless you give me access to your server, but I guess it was caused by 'fatbomb.cgi' mods.

>I have NOT modded the fatbomb-data file (that is not insdie

FYI: 'fatbomb-data' contains styles and images used by the skin files: skin1.html - skin10.html. You don't really need to rename or move 'fatbomb-data', but if you do, you need to modify the skin files as well.
