Hi Kurt

On my version, the option: SEO > PageRank Search doesn't go anywhere.

Also SEO > 123promotion Web Directory goes to http://www.linkhounds.com/hub-finder/.

cheers,
Luke

Hi Luke and All...

I fixed the PR Search and replaced Hubfinder with the VileSilencer link directory.

I suggest that you remove the old bar:
Misc => Uninstall

Then download the Tuelbar using the link I sent in the email and reinstall the updated TuelBar. The "update TuelBar" feature isn't functioning correctly.

I need some sleep, so if I messed something up, it'll be a few hours until I can get to it...

Hi there,

I have installed the tuelbar and everything seems ok except the toolbox function, it assigns the ip;
http://127.0.0.1:12345/tuelzbox/
however, my tuelbox is not installed there, and other tuelz are using it from its current location.

How can I alter the path to my main toolbox?

Hi Pete,

Please note that Tuelz are actually a "web server" running on your PC and the IP address http://127.0.0.1:12345/ you'll see in your browser is really your PC's IP address and isn't a "web site", in the traditional sense.

Again, this IP is your PC and it's necessary for Tuelz to run.

Note - The tabs on the tabbed search bar may change from time to time...Below are the tabs at the time of this post:

First, enter relevant keywords and click "search".

Then a bunch of tabs will appear. Here's s description of each:

Google - The default Google SERPs.

Fatty - This uses the Fat Search Tuel and is the most powerful research engine in the World. You configure it to "weigh" the major search engines based on your own preferences. It also links directly to over 50 more resources. NOTHING is as powerful as Fat Search.

Note: You must start tuelz.exe before Fatty will work.

USENET - This tab searches posts from a forgotten, but cool, resource.

EDU - This is the tab to use to find blogs on .edu domains you can post comments to.

Pheeds.com - My own mirror of Wikipedia, an excellent resource for fining content for your sites and articles.

Forums - Finds forum posts relevant to your keywords. Great for finding forums and posts related to your topics.

Podzing - Searches Podzinger for the latest podcasts related to your keywords. Once you find great podcasts, pop the URL into The Newz Tuel (see Tuel Box) and it'll automatically check for, and download, any new releases of your favorite podcasts.

Content - A cool search service that finds content for your websites and newsletters.

UTube - A quick and easy way to search for YouTube videos right from your browser.

eBay - Directly searches eBay.

"in" - This tab is essential for finding your REAL competition in the search engines. Only returns pages that have you keyword in the page title, anchor text and body text. This is a great indicator of the SEO "skill" of your competition!

WT KeyPop - Uses Word Trackers free service to see how many times a keyword has been searched for.

AdWords - Returns the AdWord Ads for the keyword you enter. Great to see if others are bidding on keywords.

Note to Bums: The best and fastest research you can perform on keywords is to use the "in" tab for competition, WT KeyPOP for demand and AdWords for value.

If you have any suggestions, additions or subtractions for the Tabbed Search, please post below.

The search and tuelz are working fine for me. Problem is whenever I start a page and click on any link, the browser pops a new window with the url:C:\Program Files\Tuel Bar\cache\QT1_MARQUEE.htm

Please help.

To be honest, I've never seen this error before.

Was the Tuelbar working before?

Did you restart your PC?

Are you using IE?

Jom,

I don't have a clue.

Since it worked, then didn't work, it would seem that something new was installed that is interferring with the Tuelbar, but I'm just guessing.

If you bought within the last 60 days, send me your Paypal receipt and I'll give you a refund.

Kurt,

Thanks for trying. Other than that it's a great tool. I do not intend to ask for a refund.

Dear Kurt,

How can I turn the RSS on my Tuel Bar off. It opens another browser

window and scrolls under the main page I'm visiting.

I'm dial-up and want the tuel bar only to display ... no RSS.

Thanks for your help.

HI Ken,

You can't turn off the RSS. But, you should be able to switch to "dropdown mode". I don't know why it opens another window in your browser, but you "should" be able to find an option to switch to drop down mode, which "should" make it simply a button on the tuel bar.

Hi Karsten,

Do you mean you "missed" the Inz Tuel? If so, you need to check the BombSquad more often.

Also, the link you posted gave me an error message when trying to use the tool.
