Directory Submitter - Exploiting Resources + Custom Submissions

This assumes you know how to use Directory Submitter. If you don't, start it up and follow the video tutorials.

I bought resale rights so you can have access to Directory Submitter (DS). You can download it at this time, from the Monthly Download thread, but hurry as DS may not always be available.

DS is intended to submit your sites to tons of various link directory sites, to help you build links, and it does this well.

But DS has a few features that let us greatly expand the potential:

1. It allows us to add our own pages to it.

2. DS allows us to import and export the info for these new pages.

What this means is, we can add our own "directories" which in reality are free blog resources, bookmarking sign up pages, podcast sites and more.

In other words, we can use DS to create ways to greatly speed up signing up for various accounts...

Let's say you want to use www.socialmarker.com to bookmark your sites, or want to use ANY software to bookmark sites.

First, you need to create user accounts at every bookmarking site you want to use. So, we use DS to cut the time to sign up for all these bookmarking sites by 2/3. It takes you directly to the sign up page of each service and auto-fills as much info as it can. It will take just a few seconds to sign up for each service.

A small problem is, DS is created for link directories...It calls every page a "directory", when we'll be adding varoius types of sign up pages. We just need to adapt a little.

Over time, I'll add more and more custom categories that will greatly increase the power of DS.

Please check the Monthly Download thread for any of these files.

=============================================================
Here's a nice resoce for finding niche directories...This can be used to build a custom niche database for Directory Submitter:

!Silver Sites -

Silver Sites is the first special category for Directory Submitter (DS).

It's a list that takes you directly to the "sign up" page for the major free blog sites, like hubpages, squidoo, wordpress, blogger so you can create all these accounts as fast and easily as possible.

Do this:
-Download and unzip !DirectorySubmit_SilverSites.xml (check the MOnthly Download thread to see what is available for download).

-In Directory Submitter:
Import Custom Directory Databases

-Find and select:
!DirectorySubmit_SilverSites.xml

Now the list of about 20 sign up pages for various silver sites is entered into your copy of DS.

-Click the "filter" button and select "!SilverSites" and it will show only this list of silver sites.

-Right click on the first entry in your list.
Select "Set Custom Color"
Choose "olive"
Repeat for each entry in list.

I know this is a small pain, but it only takes a minute or two and marks our links to "silver sites" stand out.

DS wasn't programed to have different types of submission pages, so we need to adapt. Give each type of resource a different custom color, so you can still use the original link directory data without clutter for other categories.

IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU SPEND 2 MINUTES AND GIVE EACH FILTERED LIST THEIR OWN CUSTOM COLOR.

- Go down the list, adding resources to your network.

-Use the right click=>EDIT CUSTOM TEXT to add comments to any entry...Passwords, status, etc.

Also, right click=>"MARK AS SENT" once you've created a resource

Directory Submitter not only speeds up signing up for stuff, but it also helps you keep these projects organized.

Learn to modify things that have changed. If you don't like a service, you can delete it from the !Silver category or delete it entirely.

Get rid of the entries that slow you down or are a hassle. Then for your next project, you'll be even more efficient.

>Nice thinking, Kurt!

Thanks Karl.

If more people are interested in this, we can do a lot more, I just need to know if you guys want this?

If I don't get responses, I tend to think no one is interested, so I don't pursue it further.

Hi Kurt,

Yes, I'm interested!

I've just been real busy these days and don't seem to get to post as much, but Ido read the posts.

Btw, this is a very good addition. Thanks ...

Hi Kurt,

I would be interested. But I can't get it to the program to run properly!

I'm working on it.

Happy New Year,

Ed

I take it there are no instructions to DS? When I look through the file, there's no videos to be noticed. Am I missing something?

Kurt,

Is your program 2.0 or 3.0? I've got rights to 3l0 if you'd like to offer it.

I made a new custom database. This one creates accounts at 16 of the best free hosting services.

www.dombom.com/iframes/freehosts_zz.zip

I believe they all have FTP, which makes them perfect for ZZ Tuel.

In addition, there are tons of other free hosting services, feel free to add them to your own private list so we all don't use the same.

1 Unzip 'em

2 Import into Directory Submitter: FILE => IMPORT CUSTOM DIRECTORY DATABASE

3 Filter: !FreeSites FTP ZZ

4 Give each a custom color dodger blue
Right click on each => Set Custom Color

In about 15 minutes or less you can sign up for all these accounts. Then, log into your email and get the ftp details for each.

Fill in ZZ and just copy ZZ projects to get you going for each...Be sure to use your main Blogbomb RSS pheed in some way.

Many of these free hosting accounts require you to log in once a month, no matter how much traffic you get. This is why ZZ is perfect for these sites. Have ZZ update 1 or 2 times a week.

Also, for each site, create an RSS item or two and add them to your Main BlogBomb RSS pheed.

For the main content, you can use PLR, spun articles, anything decent that won't get you banned. Then use ZZ to update the 1-5 pages on each domain.

Remember, you aren't creating 16 accounts on the same resource with this list, you are instead creating 16 hosting accounts on 16 different hosts. It takes a little more effort, but there are many benefits.

If you have your articles done and know ZZ and BlogBomb + RSS, I bet you can set up 12-16 seperate sites on different hosts, all update automatically, in less than 3 hours.

Consider these tin sites...
