#0, What's coming up?
Posted by Kurt on Jun-10-08 at 07:58 AM
I want to do more videos showing how to use Tuelz/Bombs. The problem is, I'm really bad doing them, so they end up taking me forever.

I guess my question to you all is, do you mind if they aren't "quality" (never were), but have some "meat"? If I can make them a little quicker without being worried about being "perfect", it would make me feel a lot better.

I think the videos you made were great! I'm not sure why you think they weren't quality videos? No worries about being perfect, coz they are "perfect".

Thank you for everything Kurt, we love you man,

Hey Kurt

Don't worry about glitches.

I interview people every week and screw things up regularly.

I just edit the screw-ups, both mine and the interviewee's, and sell the edited audios for loadsa $$$.

As I believe the Nike ad goes just 'Do It'

The information you have at your fingertips is so valuable, that I think every member of this forum would excuse any 'hiccups' that you may have when recording your informative videos.

They don't have to be 'perfect', to convey the information.

Just legible enough to understand the concept/method/strategy and put it into practice.
So far I have never had any difficulty following any of the videos that you have produced.

If you want any help with either video or audio production/editing let me know.

HTH

Kind regards

Ian

Thanks Guys...

I''m one of those people that really hate listening to myself. Doing the audio is pure torture.

Any requests?

Hey Kurt

I'll be happy to do your audio for you, but, to my ears, you sound just fine as you are.

Just don't try and rush things and don't get frustrated, if you goof on Take 1.

You don't have to re-record everything, just re-record the audio over the video.

If you want any help with this, just holler

Looking forward to all the 'good stuff' you have to share.

Kind regards

Ian

Hi

I am making 4 autoblogs right now. I want the content to show my site link for the title/permalink, and have the link to the full article at the bottom of the post. I have been using smartrss plugin because it does that.

I want to use wp-o-matic but if I do it makes the title/permalink go back to the source and not my page, unless I turn that off. If it is off then the blog posts with short summaries just have that with no link to the complete post. If I was only taking in full articles from article directories and have the proper author link at the bottom of the post that would be ok. That would probably give the site more words to get searched.

this post is probably ideal in format and I would like to consistently bring in posts like this. http://debt-management-reduce-debt.com/debt-reduction-steps/debt-management-how-does-rapid-debt-repayment-work

I am also very interested in your tin/silver/gold seo plan because I want to add a lot more sites and have them work in concert per the various niches.

for example this site http://wasfatman.com/ makes $300-600 a month from search traffic. mainly with one page that has a cpa diet product I get a good position for. That is with only abut 25-30 unique visitors a day. So building more traffic with better article content would probably help. How could I build this on concert with some other sites to make it grow and earn more?

By the way I just joined after seeing your posts at WF with blacknet
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=249881 and can see you are way further down the road on all this stuff I am looking to do more of. I am totally committed to building information hubs and am glad I found this forum.

Kurt,

I think you are doing fine with the videos myself. To be honest about it, I am fine with whatever you put out there as long as it has some kind of substance.

Skip the perfection and move on to the goods is what I qalways say.

Lol on the sound effects!

well I hope this is ok to post this here.

I have spent about 8 hours reading all sorts of stuff but could somebody outline for me the best way to get started?

I came here to learn more about autoblogging and automation, though it appears you cover much more than that here. My head is spinning a little and I will appreciate some guidence about how to get started.

I have some blogs I am running rss content into from a few different sources. My 1st goal is to get much more traffic. I am thinking that by adding much more content and more links I will get that going more.
My hope is to grow some of the sites I have and make them part of a bigger plan.

Is it reasonable to do some stuff now to grow traffic on these blogs as I figure out how to implement more of a comprehensive plan?

I have installed 1 script in my life, DLGuard, so I will be learning a lot of new tech too.

Hi Warner,

I'm not sure if I can post reply here, I know Kurt wants every thread to be focused on one topic, because of benefits for all of us.

But I hear you, I'm using bom scripts for a long time, but still learning a lot about how to use them and their related strategies.

If I were you, I'd stick to BlogBomb for now. I see Kurt replied to your question in the "Plan and Goals" thread, I'd follow his advice.

If you come up with a specific question, try to post in the related thread, if you are not sure where to post, try "Misc. Discussion Thread".

That I'm trying to do here myself...

That's great you installed DLGuard yourself. I think you don't have any problems installing most of, if not all of Bom scripts.

I think what Bom scripts more complex than DLGuard is not how to install, but how to use them. DLGuard is a payment process / simple membership script, so basically you set up once, it works for you after that. But with Bom, we have to learn related things / strategies and have to apply them.

I'm having a lot of fun with Bom. They take a bit of time to learn, but I can use them for a lot of things and I'm learning a lot of SEO / SEM stuff along the way.

Hi Warner,

I agree with everything Yoshi posted.

Start with the plan I gave you on the Plan and Goals thread, which includes BlogBomb.

DLGuard is probably harder to install.

Maybe the next videos should be used on creating RSS pheeds?

ok next questions in other area but to finish the idea.

I did get BlogBomb installed and have looked at different feeds. I put feeds into 4 blogs so am kind of up on finding feeds, even though there are lots of places to look.

You guys are soo right that putting these tools into play in a good way is the tricky part. They are powerfull tools that can do a lot of things.

I am wondering if there could be some online conferences or online calls or chats with skype or hot conference?

If Kurt and a few experienced people were conferencing with some newer people I bet it would help a lot.

I think it could help to maybe get some joint efforts going too.

Like once a week hot conference. Anybody agree?

Good idea, I'm all for that, still trying to wrap my head aorund what Blogbomg does ( Rss in and out?) and then how to move forward.

I think the best thing to do is to get these calls recorded and save them, and have each call have a focus, so thet this may not have to be a weekly thing, and us noobs can get up and running sonner rather than later by listening to recored calls alte ron.

new people joining will appreciate that, i'm sure

Hi Warner and Dan...

I think we'll start with some videos at first.

Remember, you guys got everything at once (at a greatly discounted price). Everyone else here got the same stuff over years, or at least monthly.

We take one or more Bombs/Tuelz each month and concentrate on it/them. This month, until the 20th, is BlogBomb.

AFter the 20th, we'll move on to the next thing, which will be Scrubz/ZZ Tuel.

You are more than welcome to explore everything and discover things at your own pace, but this forum as a slower, more focused agenda.

IF you have questions about BlogBomb, there's 5+ threads about it (highlighted in RED for a few more days) that will likely answer any questions you have, if not, just ask on the most appropriate thread.

Hi Kurt,

I've watched the first two videos you made (I
couldn't find the others if there were any), and
IMHO, they're much better than you think they
are. They're very instructional, and that's the
most important thing you can get across.

I make lots of tutorial videos, and I don't think
they're that good either...but that matters not,
my customers like them.

I make lots of mistakes, but they're so easy to
edit out afterwards. If I fluff a line, I pause
for a few seconds (to give me and editing point),
then carry on. I spend about 20 minutes creating
a 15 minute video, then about half hour editing
and cleaning up the sound. 10 minutes to add a
background music track if that's what I need. It
takes me less than an hour in total to do about
15 to 20 minutes of video.

Short videos of less than 10 minutes takes the
time it takes to record them.

Glenn

To echo Kelvin above, I also prefer substance over "perfection." As long as there is sound and visual, I'm good. As long as you are doing the video, I'm willing to bet the farm that substance won't be a problem. As for subject suggestions, my head is also spinning a bit since signing up. How about the "answer to life, the universe and everything"? Although 42 is good, a video would be welcome. Barring that, I use RSS as a key traffic tool for my own sites--anything in that ball park would be of extreme interest. However, it is also the case that anything you come up with would also be of extreme interest.

By the way, just finished reading the blacknet threat on the warrior forum. Really enjoyed your comments. Warner, thank you for dropping the url--I'd otherwise have missed that thread.
