On the linking thread I suggest creating screen savers...You can use the very same images you use to make screensavers, add a royalty free music track and submit to all the video sites for an additional way to drive traffic.
Videos are also a good way to create content and can get good rankings with Google's "universal search" which now show videos in the SERPs.
