Hey Kurt,

What a great deal. I'm glad to be here.

I setup fatbomb last night and was wondering...

If I go to blogger or to one of my wordpress intalls and put up a page of 1000 links or more pointing to 'keyword' pages of my fatbomb install... what kind of hit will my server take as all those pages are being 'created' by the search engines? AND... will they be 're-created' every time those links get spidered or are the pages cached somewhere... or something like that?

Best,
John

Hi John,

I talk about much of this on the 4 Making Pages thread.

This greatly depends on the number of engines/databases you have selected. In the example given, the pages are created dynamically, just as are the WP pages on the blog.

Also, the first time your pages are accessed, it will take them longer to be created, as Fatty has to go out to each resource to gather the info.

To counter-act this, increase the cache time limit in Fatty admin, so that it stores this data locally for a longer period of time.

Again, in the 4 Making Pages thread, I have (actually will) detail how to convert the pages to static, which is my personal favorite way of making pages.

A note to everyone...Please post any questions/comments about making pages on the 4. thread. This includes links to fatty results, as that will make pages...Thanks a lot.
