I am new to GF Bomb. Bought it just recently.

The script was installed just a week ago and I literally have done nothing with it yet. A few days ago my host deactivated my account becasuse zinebomb.cgi was using up too much of the server resources. They say that the script was using up to 10% of the CPU.

Does anyone know if that is a normal situation and I simply have to look for another host or is there some issue that could be addressed?

Any suggestions on what shared host is good to use for Godfather Bomb?

Vlad

This is what's knowns as a "virtual server". It is like having .25% of a server.

This is from Tasari:

Ok here it goes http://www.servint.com/vps/
If you take them refer my name "Ronnie Draps"

Tasari

It is only $49 a month for a semi-managed Virtual Server and you can do just about anything with it you want, within their TOS of course concerning spam, adult, etc.

Kurt,

How is VP different than my hosting reseller plan? My plans specs (200GB/20GB) are equal to VP you referenced.

Does it have to do with unique server vs shared server? Or what?

Thanks,

Jose

I describe the differences here:

The only specs you have in common is bandwidth and hard drive size.

Hi Kurt,

I'll be getting one of your bombs soon, probably will be GF Bomb.

However, I have a question with the hosting issue since this was mentioned. How can I know that my web host would not shut down my account?

Do we really need a VPS account for GF Bomb?

Thanks.

Hi Melvin,

I'm not Kurt, but I'll see if I can answer...

Some of the bombs can be resource-intensive for short periods of time. It's all relative as to what type of server you're on, how many other web sites are on the same server, the server load of the other sites, network traffic, etc. Those things are variables that can affect bomb script as well as other programs.

I haven't used them myself, so this isn't a personal recommendation, but I've heard that 5dollarwebs.com is bomber-friendly. You can email Greg there to verify. I know several bombers use them. Also, there's a bomber or two who offer hosting to fellow bombers, and some have gone together to share a dedicated server.

Thanks Jeff. I think I'll get a VPS as well when I get my hands on GFBomb. Hopefully this is the right bomb for me.
