Find a cargory or two related to your keywords and have Updatez monitor those pages.

Whenever you detect a new article has been posted, add it to your site or blog IMMEDIATELY, then add links to it from pages you know Google spiders regularly.

Your goal is to make Google think YOUR version is the original version.

Regardless of how you feel about doop content, we do know Google will list at least one version of the site, and with a little "urgency", that site can be your own.

This works best if you already have a good linking network set up.

And, don't forget to get some links in the "social-sphere" like Twitter and Facebook.
