"Kurt's Writer's Block Busting Super Quick Article Writing System"

LAST EDITED ON Jul-21-10 AT 08:54 PM (PST)

As someone that hates to write articles, I've put together a system that makes writing decent quality, original content about as easy as possible.

It does cost money, but I think it's better than outsourcing in most cases, and cheaper in the long run.

And this isn't a good system for just writing an article or two...It's better for writing 10-20 DIFFERENT articles quickly.

Here's what you need:

- A ton of PLR/Public Domain content downloaded to your PC.

It's best if these are truly PLR or public domain and that you have writes to them.

- Hard Disk Search FREE
http://www.harddisksearch.com/

This is a free program that will search the contents of text files in folders on your hard drive. It lets you search for multiple words/phrases at once and tells you how many occurances for each keyword that each article has.

It doesn't index and store these files, so it has to search all your articles each time. This can take a few minutes if you have 100,000 articles or so.

You can use something like Google desktop search, but I strongly recommend you not using anything related to Google that will index what is on your hard drive.

Instead, make a plan and get HD Search running with you main keywords while you set the rest up.

- My custom Wikipedia Search Engine FREE
http://www.pheeds.com/bib/search.cgi?&template=advanced

This is my special search engine that searches wikipedia articles. Database is old, but a good place to find content you can legally use.

- Google Uncle Sam .gov search: FREE
http://www.google.com/unclesam?num=100&hl=en&lr=&q=test

We're looking for public domain info here...Just open the link in your browser and do a few searches with your main keywords to find some info.

- Article Ideas - FREE Download here:
http://www.dombom.com/iframes/Articleideas.zip

This is a great research tool, but remember the content it returns is not public domain, just use the facts it returns.

$7 for 7 day trial - Then $77 a year.

This is a great new service that gives you spun templates for writing articles very quickly. Check out the video.

Another service from Jon Leger, this is a very good and easy to use spinner.

Spinning Content Using Tuelz
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=98&forum=DCForumID42

This forum thread shows some methods for using Tuelz and how to mix and match content. Just skim the thread to give you some general ideas and try to blend them in with the resources above.

GETTING STARTED

Open Hard Disk Search and get it started searching all your PLR articles for related content

While it is running, open the following links, each in tabs, and do some quick research:

Open Article Ideas.exe and do some quick research.

Gather various chunks of content that will fit the templates above.

Rewrite the ones you have rights to. Rearrange the order of the sentences, add and change sentence fragments, words, keywords, etc.

Collect facts from the others, particularly results from Article Ideas.

Spin the paragraphs using The Best Spinner. You can spin multiple paragraphs at once.

Add them to Instant Article Factory templates, mixing and matching content from different sources to create quality articles good enough for the directories, hubpages, squidoo, etc.

This is a good way to make content for your silver sites and properties. Instead of spinning and rewriting the same article, this method will create truly individual, hand-written content about as fast as humanly possible.

SUMMARY:

Learn the research methods

Collect chunks and facts from the research

Rewrite and spin as needed

Use the templates in Instant Article Factory to help you quickly add the "meat" to the articles.

   Hi Kurt

Found a search that's tons quicker than hard disk search, does the same plus more.

http://download.cnet.com/3271-20_4-0-7.html?fLetter=S&nomesh&type=software
scroll down until you find SearchInForm (only place I could find all versions) downloads not working from the main site

SearchInform 4.4.1 = full 30 day TRIAL version
SearchInform Desktop Free 4.3.4 = link is 404
SearchInform Desktop Free 3.0.01 = free - installed this before finding the full trial
SearchInform Free 3.3.04 = free

<15mins to index 4GB of plr - only need to do this once or when you add more plr
less than 1 second to return results for any search
searches all file types, txt, doc, pdf, zip, databases etc - can add your own
searches within zipped folders - no need to extract anything first
preview, copy to clipboard, edit* etc (can't edit files directly if you don't unzip first)
set up custom synonyms
morphing - diet, diets, dieting etc all automatic no need to set these - can disable
similarity search - lots of settings - check unique % after tuelz spinning
find dupes - set own criteria
full articles or summaries
set number of pre/post words in summary - gives results similar to pheeds.com - ie just the surrounding text to keyword - great for quick paragraph grabs
tons of other features

disadvantages
only comes with russian synonym database so have to make your own

Basically the free version is good enough if you don't want to search inside zips or do real fancy stuff.

B

Hey Brenda,

Thanks...I spent a lot of time looking for something to index my hard drive that wasn't Google. I'll give this a shot when I get a chance.

I guess I just needed to brush up on my Russian.

-Boom boom boom boom.
