"Using Videos on Pages for SEO and Marketing"

"What are the benefits of adding youtube videos to ones website?"

Here's a few benefits:

- Adds interesting content to your web pages.

- Can make your web pages viral. If you have a "refer a friend" script on your page, people can make YOUR page viral.

- Dress up doorway pages. Although I prefer what I call "condor" pages, which are part CONtent and part DOORway (condor) pages. Inserting a cool and relevant video can really dress up a page.

Basically, add some content (words) to your pages so you have a chance for SEO traffic, add the refer a friend and a cool/popular, but relevant video, plus some AdSense and/or other revenue streams.

If done correctly, you can make tons of pages that "look good" but act like doorway pages.

Be sure to include a "bookmark this page" script, as well.

If you have Tuelz...If you have, let's say 100-500 pages or so, go to YouTube and find a dozen or so relevant and good videos. Use Tuelz Listz or Randomz to add the videos to your pages.

The videos are nice touches that add visual appeal, enhance existing content and can generate viral traffic.

-Boom boom boom boom.

Here is a resource we might give some thought to:

At http://www.infotecbusinesssystems.com/wildlife/ , you'll find the following:

"The Galaxy Encoder V 2.1 is a free download that enables you to stream LIVE video from your video camera to the internet in real time. Using your camera and an internet connection, you can produce your own LIVE channel on Wavelit.com."

Although it's not available yet, it should be soon, per their website.

They also make a statement there that there is a way to 'monitize' this aspect. Now, to 'screw it into' our own bombing ventures.....

Thoughts?

John

   Hey Kurt,

Great idea. Also, digital camcorders are pretty cheap these days so it's much easier to make your own content, too, depending on your niche. You could mix your own content with the Youtube stuff.

Cheers,

Rich
